Feedback

She grabbed parasites when she worked in a pioneer camp. For the first time I felt what itching is lice bites. And in order to get rid of the problem as soon as possible, a colleague advised me to use kerosene. I brought out the parasites, but some kind of nightmare happened to the hair - they combed poorly, lost their shine and acquired the appearance of a shock. She restored her luxurious hair for at least a month. I do not recommend using this tool for lice control, since it can kill your hair besides insects.

Those who decide to remove lice with kerosene must follow the rules for the use of this tool.

  1. To treat the head with kerosene, it is preferable to use lighting or technical kerosene, but aviation or automotive for these purposes is completely unsuitable. This nuance is explained by the presence of extraneous additives in the latest variations of the product.
  2. Processing will be safer if you dilute kerosene to kill lice with olive (sunflower) oil and shampoo in a ratio of 2: 2: 1.

Feedback

Do not use kerosene to kill lice in children. The neighboring grandmother assured us that in this way her mother would remove parasites to all her daughters. However, the application of kerosene to the scalp of the child caused not only the suffocation of the baby from the specific smell of the product, but also a severe burn. Still not worth saving on children!

  • Do not keep the substance on the head for more than 2 hours, but people with sensitive skin treating the head with kerosene is not recommended at all. You can verify this reaction of the skin in advance by applying a toxic agent to the elbow fold. On the treated area there should be no redness or rashes.Otherwise, it is better to refuse the use of kerosene.
  • Do not carry out such procedures near sources of flame, as even a small spark can cause ignition.

I think that it is better to use pharmacy products. The main thing is to do everything in accordance with the instructions. Used Para-Plus, as recommended by the manufacturer. It helped my child, my husband and I carried out treatment with the drug in order to prevent it. Lice and nits were combed out several times.

  7. Alexandra

I was advised to remove lice with kerosene mixed with vegetable oil. Both components must be taken in equal quantities. Keep kerosene mass on your head for no more than 30 minutes. Otherwise, burns may occur. Today I will try.
