Collars and drops Tick Inspector: for dogs and cats

One of the drugs that help get rid of parasites that attack animals with the onset of spring is the Dog Tick Inspector. These drops help get rid of the "bloodsuckers", which are dangerous carriers of severe infections.

Active components

Inspector Total C is used for cats and dogs and helps kill external and internal parasites, including lice and flea, ixodic, earplugs and sarcoptoid tick ticks, worms and intestinal nematodes, and is also used to treat otodectosis, dog sarcoptosis and demodicosis.

The main components of this tick remedy belong to the low toxicity class and do not harm the health of pets:

  • Moxidectin (2.5%) - a semi-synthetic poisonous substance that acts on the nervous system of insects and arachnids, causes muscle paralysis and subsequent death;
  • Fipronil (10%) - a widespread acaricidal drug, a phenyl compound acting on insect receptors and blocking the transmission of impulses, causes severe malfunctions of the nervous system of parasites;
  • excipients (monoethyl ether, polyethylene glycol, etc.).

The active components of the drug accumulate in the upper layer of the skin, after which they begin to act, being absorbed into the blood vessels. Moxidectin, after effective action on parasites that feed on blood, is excreted through the intestines from the body of the animal.

Reviews

As testimonial reviews about Inspector drops indicate, when used for cats and dogs, in most cases the drug is said to be effective and does not cause problems with animal health. However, there are isolated cases (mainly among representatives of small ornamental breeds) of an individual allergic reaction, which often occurs due to the toxic substance Moxidectin that is included in the preparation. Therefore, the drug Inspector, especially for the first time, should be used with caution, monitoring the condition and reaction of the pet.

The Inspector drops have been saving us for more than a year, since there are many "bloodsuckers" in Altai, and they have been active for almost 6 months. We regularly treat the drops every 4 weeks, which helps to avoid unpleasant bites of parasites and not to catch worms.

Marina, Altai

I bought the Inspector for the first time and dribbled to my beloved York. The effect was terrible: the dog began to itch and torment terribly. I had to run to the clinic, where they put a dropper and treated for another week. Allergy to the substance Moxidectin - such was the diagnosis of doctors.
